Bathroom Remodels

“When my parents moved to Austin two years ago, they bought a 1950’s house down the street from me. We decided to remodel, add to and upgrade their house. We hired Patrick as our general contractor to remodel two bathrooms, build a carport, and upgrade the adobe fireplace to stone, among other things. During the course of the project, Patrick suggested some thoughtful solutions to making my aging parents’ house, easier for them to get around and more comfortable for them. The project went so smoothly, and turned out so well, because of Patrick’s attention to detail, dedication to quality, and professional subcontractors, that I decided to hire him to remodel my house. (I had decided never to remodel again after a disastrous experience remodeling without a general contractor.)

All of my projects went as smoothly as could be and everything turned out perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I have recommended Patrick to everyone I know, and will continue to do so without an ounce of hesitation.”

This home was built in the 1950’s and still had the original tile work and bathroom fixtures. We demolished both bathrooms and an adjoining closet, down to the floor joists and studs. We updated all of the plumbing and electrical to meet current codes before installing a walk-in shower in the master bathroom and a Jacuzzi tub in the guest bathroom. We added custom cabinets, crown molding, granite countertops and used a variety of travertine tile and stone accents to create two different bath areas for the owner to enjoy. The vessel sinks and oil rubbed bronze fixtures added the finishing touches to these one of a kind bathrooms. We also reconfigured the master closet to give the homeowner more space and a wall of shelving for shoes.
